Musica sem espinhas

RDP Africa, Lissabon

Montag 00:05-02:00

With Nuno Sardinha.

Music is a universal language. It has no frontiers, beliefs or races. It results from a varied cultural reflection. "Musica sem espinhas" ("Music without Fishbones") covers these musical cultural differences on a weekly basis and shows we can combine Son from Cuba with Coladera from Cape Vert or maybe Marrabenta from Mozambique with Bossa Nova from Brazil. This is what I mean with "Music Without Fishbones".

The 2 hour program is produced in Lisbon by Nuno Sardinha at RDP AFRICA and is transmitted in FM to Portugal, Angola, Cape Vert, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and S. Tome and Principe. I give special attention to music that is produced in the CPLP's (Countries that speak Portuguese). The program includes interviews, specials, musical reports with correspondents in all referred countries informing the public about concerts and new music releases.
